Welcome to my academic homepage!
I am a development economist working on questions in environmental/energy, health, and gender inequality. In my work, I use experimental and non-experimental applied econometrics methods and combine surveys, sensor data and administrative data to study clean cooking technology adoption, the health effects of exposure to air pollution, and the impacts of household production activities such as cooking on women’s well-being. Part of my research is based on extensive fieldwork in Burkina Faso.
I received a PhD in Economics from Paris Dauphine University - PSL in November 2022. My job market paper received the Program Chair Award in “Climate, Pollution, Environment and Health” at the ASHEcon Annual Conference 2023.
I am currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Bordeaux School of Economics (BSE, University of Bordeaux). I am also affiliated to DIAL (IRD, CNRS, Dauphine-PSL).
Prior to starting my PhD, I worked in the non-profit sector for over a decade with a focus on access to energy and clean cooking interventions in developing countries.
